Description

Help build the way customers go live at a company changing how finance teams work.

Finance teams spend too much time working around complex systems - reconciling data, investigating issues, managing close activities, and building manual processes to fill the gaps.

Nominal is changing that.

We're building an AI-native platform that enables finance teams to move from manually executing work to managing systems that execute it for them. Our customers are growing companies with complex, multi-entity finance operations, and we're building the product - and the customer experience around it - to make that work dramatically more efficient.

We move fast, we obsess over execution, and we value hands-on leadership, real ownership, and open, direct communication.

About the role

This role is both hands-on and managerial. You'll personally lead complex implementations for our most important customers while hiring, managing, and mentoring a growing implementation team. You'll sit at the intersection of Product, R&D, and Customer Success - turning what you learn in real deployments into roadmap influence, validated features, and measurable value from every release.

You'll also define how onboarding works at Nominal from the ground up: the processes, the success metrics, the tooling that make implementations more repeatable and scalable. The people who join at this stage don't inherit a motion - they build it, and shape what the company becomes.

What you'll do and how you’ll know it’s working

Go-live is a milestone, not the finish line. Success means customers reach value quickly, can run Nominal independently, and are already replacing the manual work they came to us to solve.

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, providing data mapping, architectural support, integrations, and process design
  • Partner with Sales on late-stage deals, providing technical scoping and helping set customers up for a successful implementation
  • Work with customers to identify manual processes and translate them into agentic solutions within Nominal
  • Pilot and deploy new features before general release, ensuring they work reliably in real customer environments and deliver meaningful value
  • Bring what you learn in the field back to Product and R&D - surfacing customer needs, validating new capabilities, and turning implementation learnings into product improvements
  • Design and build the onboarding motion - playbooks, success metrics, and tooling that improve time-to-value, implementation quality, and repeatability as we scale
  • Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders and internal teams across time zones, keeping implementations moving and ownership clear
  • Hire, manage, and mentor the implementation team - setting standards, distributing work, and building a team that can consistently deliver high-quality implementations at scale
