About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Senior Sales Engineer to join our growing US commercial team. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical trusted advisor and product expert for our prospective customers. You will partner closely with our Account Executives (AEs) to navigate complex enterprise sales cycles, architect solutions, and articulate the deep business value of our platform to both highly technical stakeholders and C-level executives.
As a senior member of the team, you will not only drive technical wins but also help shape our sales engineering processes, mentor junior team members, and act as a crucial bridge between our customers, Product, and Engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Ownership: Lead the technical discovery, solution architecture, and product demonstrations for enterprise prospects throughout the sales cycle.
- Proof of Concept (PoC): Scope, manage, and execute successful, value-driven Evaluations and PoCs that clearly demonstrate ROI and technical alignment with customer requirements.
- Strategic Partnership: Partner with Enterprise AEs to build comprehensive account strategies, identify technical blockers, and successfully overcome objections.
- Executive Presence: Confidently present and articulate complex technical concepts to a wide range of audiences, from Security/DevOps Engineers to CIOs and CISOs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the “voice of the customer” by providing structured feedback to Product and Engineering to help drive the product roadmap.
- RFP & Security Questionnaires: Take ownership of answering complex technical sections of RFPs, RFIs, and security compliance questionnaires.
- Ecosystem Champion: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to position our platform as the market leader.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Solutions Engineer in the B2B SaaS space (Experience in Cybersecurity or complex infrastructure tech is a major plus).
- Track Record: Proven track record of managing and winning technical sales cycles with Fortune 500 / Enterprise-level accounts.
- Network & Infrastructure Security: Deep understanding of enterprise network topologies (routing, firewalls, segmentation) and a solid grasp of attack surface management, vulnerability prioritization, and threat modeling.
- Technical Depth: Strong understanding of cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP), APIs, enterprise security protocols, and modern software deployment models.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to tell a compelling story around technology and value rather than just listing features.
- Problem Solver: A self-starter mindset with a consultative approach to solving complex customer business challenges.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical technical experience.
