About The Squadron
The Squadron is a first-of-its-kind immersive aviation experience center built around high-fidelity F-35 flight simulators. We operate at the intersection of elite performance, leadership development, and unforgettable human experience — serving both corporate clients and private guests who want to feel what it means to fly.
Our corporate programs deliver mission-based flying, real-time decision challenges, and structured post-flight debriefs designed to sharpen leadership, communication, and team cohesion. Our private experiences bring the thrill of the cockpit to individuals, families, and groups seeking something they’ve never felt before.
The Role
You’ll own The Squadron’s full marketing function — brand, demand, performance, and field — across both B2C and B2B. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role: you’ll set the strategy and execute it. You’ll manage an external performance agency and work closely with founders to build the marketing engine that scales us globally.
What You’ll Own
Brand & Positioning
- Steward The Squadron’s brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across all markets and touchpoints
- Ensure consistency from paid ads to the in-simulator experience
B2B / Corporate Marketing
- Build pipeline for corporate programs: team-building, leadership offsites, client entertainment, and executive experiences
- Develop targeting strategies reaching HR, L&D, executive assistants, and C-suite buyers at financial services, consulting, and professional services firms
- Work in close coordination with sales and manage lead flow and handoff in Salesforce
B2C Demand Generation
- Drive awareness, consideration, and conversion for private bookings — individuals, families, gifting, and group experiences
- Own the full B2C funnel: paid acquisition, site experience, email nurture, and repeat visits
- Manage third-party experience platforms, gifting channels, and voucher partnerships
Performance Paid Media
- Manage and hold accountable an external performance agency across Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Set budget allocation, campaign goals, and reporting expectations — own CAC, ROAS, and revenue-linked KPIs
- Ensure rigorous attribution, creative testing cadence, and channel-level performance visibility
Events & Experiential
- Lead The Squadron’s presence at industry events, trade shows, and corporate buyer forums
- Initiate and produce owned events — client preview nights, press activations, corporate showcase days
- Build partnerships with venues, event planners, and hospitality networks that generate referral volume
Content & Communications
- Oversee content strategy across email (Mailchimp), social, blog, video, and PR
- Manage media relationships and earned coverage strategy
- Drive lifecycle communications that build repeat business and referrals
Analytics & Reporting
- Own marketing reporting: funnel performance, channel attribution, LTV trends, and paid media results
- Report to leadership with metrics
Vendor Management
- Oversee agencies and freelancers across creative, media, PR, and SEO — get leverage without losing brand coherence
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 2–3 years in a senior or director-level role
- Demonstrated success running both B2C and B2B marketing programs simultaneously — you understand the funnels, buying cycles, and channel mixes are fundamentally different
- Experience overseeing and managing external performance paid media agencies — you can read a dashboard, interrogate a ROAS number, and have a point of view on creative testing
- Track record owning in-person event strategy: both attending/exhibiting and producing owned activations from concept through execution
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce (CRM) and Mailchimp or comparable email marketing platform – advantage
- Strong analytical instincts — you make decisions from data and can tell a clear story from a marketing report
- Experience managing external agencies and freelancers without losing accountability or coherence
Preferred
- Familiarity with the corporate learning, leadership development, or L&D landscape — you understand how companies buy training and team-building programs
- Background in experiential, entertainment, or experience-based consumer marketing — escape rooms, immersive venues, hospitality, live events, or similar
- International, multi-market marketing or franchising experience
